Privacy Policy

Effective October 15, 2026

Estate Content Studio creates and publishes social media content for real estate professionals. This policy explains what information we collect from our clients, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

  • Your business details. Your name, title, team or brand name, brokerage, email addresses, phone numbers, website, the areas you serve and your content preferences, as you give them to us on our onboarding form.
  • Your brand files. Your logo, headshot and brand colours.
  • Facebook and Instagram access. When you approve our access request, Meta gives our business account permission to publish to your Facebook Page and the Instagram account linked to it. We see your Page's name and ID and your Instagram account's ID and username. We never receive your Facebook password and cannot access your personal profile.
  • LinkedIn access. If you connect LinkedIn, LinkedIn shares your name, your LinkedIn member ID and an access key that lets us publish posts you have approved. We do not request your email address, connections, messages or feed. LinkedIn ends this access after 60 days unless you renew it.
  • Content and approvals. The posts, images and videos we create for you, your approval decisions and any changes you request.

How we use it

  • To create content in your brand and publish it to the accounts you choose.
  • To send you posts for approval. Nothing is published without your approval.
  • To send service emails, such as approval requests, reminders to renew your LinkedIn connection and account notices.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers we need to run the service, and only what each one needs:

  • Meta and LinkedIn, to publish your approved posts.
  • OpenAI and Google, to help write captions and create images. We send them content details, not your account access.
  • Cloudinary, JSON2Video and Browserless, to host images and produce graphics and short videos.
  • Google Workspace, for spreadsheets, file storage and email.
  • Bluehost, which hosts our private automation server.

Some of these providers process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

How we protect it

Access keys for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn are kept on our private automation server, not in shared spreadsheets or emails. Access is limited to the people who run the service. We ask clients never to send us passwords.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you are a client. When the service ends, we remove our access to your accounts and delete your information within 30 days, except for records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

Your choices

  • Remove our access at any time. For Facebook and Instagram, go to business.facebook.com/settings, open Partners, select Estate Content Studio and click Remove. For LinkedIn, go to LinkedIn Settings & Privacy, then Data privacy, then Permitted services, and remove Estate Content Studio.
  • Ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing us. We will respond within 30 days.
